IKO and Music for Life
IKO dives into the water for a good cause!
Have you ever seen a mobile swimming pool?
A mobile swimming pool specially designed and built for a good cause? Then you definitely need to look forward to the Warmste Week (Hottest Week) organised by Studio Brussel. Cultural group Keldertrapken from Essen-Horendonk is organising a campaign for charity, and IKO is happy to help out!
Cultural group Keldertrapken is building a mobile swimming pool for the benefit of the non-profit organisation Spectrum. On 23 December, the swimming pool will leave Essen for Wachtebeke, arriving on Sunday 24 December at the Puyenbroek domain in Wachtebeke.
To keep the water in the pool warm, the men from the Keldertrapken can count on IKO energy thermal insulation! Support a good cause along with us! Help Keldertrapken collect a lot of funds for the Warmste Week!
Non-profit organisation Spectrum – De Vlotter
The non-profit organisation Spectrum is based in the Northern Campine region and provides care for people with disabilities. Since April 2017, it has started a daytime service for people with disabilities, called De Vlotter.
The location of De Vlotter ensures that the team can really work in an inclusive way. Experienced supervisors offer visitors as many activities in the neighbourhood as possible. This includes working on a farm, in shops or businesses, in the service centre or with people in the neighbourhood. There are also in-house activities for the participants, for whom external “work” is difficult. The day service offers customised care.
